My favorite sushi place. We are greeted with a friendly smile and happy to see us. My go to food is the Bento Box that includes: Chicken teriyaki, sushi, ginger side salad, and seaweed salad. Everything is fresh and authentic. I rate them a 10/10. A great date or family outing.

I love everything about this place. The ambiance, the employees, the food, overall a wonderful experience. The lunch specials are amazing. There is nothing on the menu that i would not recommend. I come often with my mom and they remember us each time. We do not even live locally anymore but still make the drive. I highly recommend the red bean mochi as well.

Looking for some sushi in the area? Look no more, NiwanoHana restaurant has the most quick service, great flavor and fresh ingredients. Great ambiance, friendly staff and generous portions, I highly recommend this great spot. Isn't new but, they have good food. Don't forget to ask them for some tempura banana as dessert. Enjoy.

Niwano Hana is one of the best Japanese restaurants ever. They have so many great options you cannot find anywhere else in terms of sushi, entrees, and soups and we loved everything we tried for our second anniversary dinner. We were greeted by the wonderful cherry blossom decorations to remind us of our wedding theme. To drink we had a large house sake and glass of plum wine which were great. We got a salmon miso, edamame, yellowtail sashimi, and toro for our appetizers which were amazing. We then had four sushi rolls that we loved. Can't quite recall what they were as their menu was so big but some of them were fried and they clearly were some of the best sushi rolls we have ever had. Then we got the salmon udon for another entree. We ended with delicious fried bananas which were complimentary for one anniversary. The food and service is among the best and the portions and prices are pretty generous. We definitely look forward to returning!

I had a super delicious Sashimi Assortment here for lunch...we have been overall really happy about our dining experiences here and always look forward (and receive) a dependably good meal with gracious service. The restaurant is also always a comfortable and lovely place to relax even when it is busy.

I've been coming here since they opened in 1981, and there's a good reason Niwano Hana is still open and very popular - the sushi is always fresh and delicious and service top notch! Tonight we brought a friend from out of town and she loved it! We had the house salad (dressing is amazing), Miso soup, a MD roll (soft shell crab), the California roll with caviar, and tuna, eel, yellowtail, and whitefish sushi. We also had the special bluefin tuna roll for the first time and it was delicious! The sushi chefs are top notch! I think one of them has been there since NH opened. Also can't forget to mention that the Sake was delicious and Asahi Beer was cold and tasty! We are already looking forward to our next visit, and a shoutout to our server Yao, she was great!!

A great gem on 355 near Wintergreen plaza that serves up standard Japanese fare (bento boxes, sushi, donburi) as well as some creative fusion fare (toro special). We shared an agedashi tofu appetizer and toro special. Both were very good. The agedashi tofu had the right kind of coating that wasn't too thick. The sauce amd bonito flakes gave additional flavor without it being too salty. The tori special had chunks of fatty tuna over a round of sushi rice, avocado slices and a sesame vinegary sauce. A raw quail egg yolk sat on the top and provided a creamy overall texture when broken, My soba entree was the hot variety in a light piping broth with seaweed and fish cake. 2 shrimp tempura pieces flanked the soup (to stay crispy). A solid bowl of comfort food with perfectly cooked noodles. Service was very gracious and polite. Will be back!

I visited again recently with a friend after work on a weekday. The place was bustling for what's typically dead Tuesday night. We were seated right away and received prompt service. We ordered Katsudon, Takoyaki, gyoza, and avocado rolls. Everything tasted wonderful except for the gyoza. The salads that came with our order was 100/100. The Takoyaki made me happy. The restaurant offered free parking, easy accessibility from 355, and lovely service. I would return again in the future.
